Wisconsinites embraced the insult.
In 1987,
a man named Ralph Bruno,
showed up to a Milwaukee Brewer Game
wearing a cheese-shaped hat made out of foam from his mom's couch.

What is a Barn Quilt?

A Barn Quilt is a large piece of wood that is painted to look like a single quilt block.
The quilt blocks or squares are painted on large wooden squares and then mounted on a barn.
The size of the squares vary, but usually measure 8 ft.
The painted squares are hung on the exterior of a barn.
