Oshkosh WI
The Experimental Aircraft Association Fly-In Convention,
now called EAA AirVenture has been in existence for 60+ years.
The EAA AirVenture is a week long celebration known as
The World's Greatest Aviation Celebration.
There are Planes, Planes and More Planes!
Warbirds, Vintage Planes, Homebuilts, Utralights, just to name a few.
EAA serves as one of the Worlds Premier Aviation Event.
The week long event spans the entire spectrum of the aviation world.
This aviation spectacular attracts over 10,000 airplanes each year making
Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh WI the busiest of all airports, at least during that week~
Over 500,000 people from every State in the US and from Countries all over the World
descend on this small college town, with a population of 66,000.
The Wittman Regional Airport is only 3 blocks from Bob and Kim's house,
making visiting them during EAA week an adventure in itself!
For seven days, from early morning sunrise to late evening,
the sky is filled with dazzling displays of aerobatics.
You can see and hear planes flying overhead for miles.
There is something for everyone at AirVenture and something for all ages.
Fun, Food and Nightly Concerts.
Daily Airshows, Aerobatics, Pyrotechnics,
Feature Films at the Fly In,
