Maple Rum Brown Butter Glaze
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 cups sifted powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 to 2 teaspoons rum extract
- 2 to 4 tablespoons milk
- Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium-low heat for 7 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown. Remove from heat.
- Whisk in sifted powdered sugar, maple syrup and rum extract.
- Whisk in as much milk as needed to make of drizzling consistency.
