{Asian Inspired} Sesame Pork Ribs

sweet and spicy sauce and then allowed to cook all day,
leaving you plenty of time to make a special dessert~

Sesame Pork Ribs
A delicious, Asian inspired recipe~
Cook time: 6 to 8 hours on low in slow cooker
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon chili paste
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 large leek, washed and sliced
- juice from 1 lemon
- 2 teaspoons lemon zest
- 5 pounds bone-in, country-style pork ribs
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- In a large bowl, whisk together the first nine ingredients. Set aside.
- Place on large baking sheet. Roast in a 425º oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- Add the ribs to sauce and turn to coat.
- Place sliced onion in a 5-quart slow cooker; top with ribs and sauce.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until meat is tender.
- Place the ribs on a serving platter; sprinkle with sesame seeds.
