I was sent a coupon to purchase a Tyson Chicken product and
I bought my favorite a package
Tyson Crispy Chicken Strips.
Crispy Chicken Bites Wrapped in Bacon
Ingredients
- 1 (25 oz) package crispy chicken strips or nuggets
- 18 thick slices bacon
- wooden toothpicks
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Place frozen chicken strips on baking sheet.
- Heat in oven for 18 to 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a large skillet, fry bacon slices until almost crisp.
- Remove from heat and transfer bacon to a paper towel lined serving plate.
- Drain well. Set aside.
- Remove chicken strips from oven. Set aside until cool enough to handle, about 5 minutes.
- Cut each strip into 3 to 4 pieces.
- Wrap one strip of bacon around each chicken strip "bite" Secure bacon with toothpick.
- Continue with remaining chicken bites.
- Place bacon-wrapped bites in a microwavable safe dish, cover with paper towels.
- Microwave on high for 25 to 35 seconds. Transfer bites to a serving plate. Serve with sauces.
Hoisin Dipping Sauce
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup bottled hoisin sauce
- 4 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- In a small saucepan, combine all ingredients.
- Cook over medium-low heat until heated through..
- About 10 minutes.
- Serve warm with chicken bites.
Mustard Dipping Sauce
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup dry mustard (Coleman's)
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/2 cup olive oil mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon honey
- In a small saucepan, combine mustard, sugar and salt. Add vinegar and egg. Whisk together well. Cook over low heat for 2 to 3 minutes or until thickened, whisking constantly.
- Refrigerate 10 to 15 minutes or until cooled.
- Stir in mayonnaise and honey.
- Store in refrigerator until ready to serve.
Sweet Chili Plum Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons oil
- 1 shallot, minced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 cup plum sauce (recipe above)
- 4 tablespoons orange juice
- 2 tablespoons chili paste
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- Heat oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
- Add shallot and garlic, cook until tender, stirring constantly, about 5 minutes.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Cook until heated through, about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve warm with chicken bites.
