{Slow Cooker} Honey Garlic Chicken

Ingredients
  • 8 bone-in, skin-on, chicken thighs
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 to 4 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves, optional
  • jasmine rice, optional
  • steamed vegetable, optional
Cooking Directions
  1. In a large bowl, combine garlic, honey, soy sauce, ketchup, lemon juice, basil, oregano, red pepper flakes, and pepper. Place chicken into a 6-quart slow cooker.
  2. Cover and cook on low heat for 7 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
  3. Garnish with chopped parsley leaves and serve with jasmine rice.
