Smoked Oyster Spread
My Grandma served this delicious dip each year on Christmas Eve~
Smoked Oyster Spread
Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz) can smoked oysters, drained
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 large clove garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons chili sauce
- 6 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 2 teaspoons hot sauce or to taste
- 1 teaspoon old bay seasoning or seafood seasoning
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- Coarsely chop the oysters and set aside.
- Whip together the cream cheese, garlic, soy sauce, parsley, hot sauce, old bay seasoning and mayonnaise. Gently stir in the oysters, refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Serve with thick slices of dark pumpernickel bread, assorted veggies or crackers
